Believe in the One He Sent. - John 6:29

"Jesus replied, This is the work [service] that God asks of you: that you believe in the One whom He has sent [that you cleave to, trust, rely on & have faith in His Messenger]. John 6:29 [Amplified Bible] I was asked by one of the brother in Christ,"why are people who worship idols in the World prospering in the material aspect of life? Why God does not seem to take away my pile of Debts since we are prince of the World? "No it's Not true, I..." before I can even start, the same reply comes, "It's only you Godwyn you are blessed...Not me..."

I have witnessed quite a number of sisters & brothers in Christ back-sliding thinking God do not love them because their debts are not taken away, or maybe they get rejected by another part of opposite sex all kinds of lies that are deception created by the Devil.

Do you believe what was said in John 6:29? "Yes... then rely, have faith & trust Jesus!" "Till I am bankrupt? Is that till then God will come & save me?" said the brother. Hard words, sensitive issues & complex answer..."I believe & rely on Jesus, as I know blessings are not from our World we live, it is super-natural, that is why it is called Miracle & Blessing. I truly believe "I do not work for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you for on Him the Father, God has set His seal." John 6:27 [NASB] Amen?!

Do you like it when people label you before they know you? We often applied the label before we looked inside of many...some examples

"So, you're unemployed?" [Label: - Bum]

"Hmnn you are an accountant.." [Label: - Boring people who knows numbers few words]

" So you are in Sales..." [Label: - Compulsive liars made up of all the sales executives]

"Oh you are in real estate work..." [Label: - One of those disgusting housing agent]

Labels. So convenient. Stick them on a person, & you know what pantry to use. What if God did that with us? What if God judged us by our outward appearance? What if He judged us based on where we grew up? Or what we do for a living? Or mistakes we made when we were young? He wouldn't do that, would he?

John tells us a time the disciples applied a label. Jesus & his followers came upon a man who had been blind from birth. Here the questions the disciples asked Jesus: "Teacher, whose sin caused this man to be born blind - his own sin or his parents' sin?"
[John 9:2]

How can they be so harsh? So insensitive? The answer? It's easier to talk about a person than to help a person. It's easier to debate homosexuality than to be a friend to a gay friend. It's easier to discuss divorce than to help the divorced. It's easier to argue abortion than to support an orphanage. It's easier to complain about the welfare system than to help the poor. It's easier to label than to love. It's especially easy to talk theology. Such discussions make us feel righteous. Self-righteous!

Who do you best relate to in this story? Some of you relate to the man born blind. You have been the topic of conversation. You have been left on the outside looking in. You've been labeled. If so, learn what this man learned: When everyone else rejects you, Christ accepts you. When everyone else leaves you, Christ finds you. When no one else wants you, christ claims you. When no one else wise will give you the time of the day, Jesus will give you the words of eternity.

Others of you will relate to the observers. You've judged. You've labeled. You've slammed the gavel & proclaimed the guilt before know the facts. If that is you, go back to John 9:4 & understand what the work of God is "We must work the works of Him who sent Me as long as it is day; night is coming when no one can work."

What is the work of God? Accepting People. Loving people before judgment. Caring before condemning! Look Before you Label.

Yeah!
I agree with you, Godwyn :)

It's so important to be loved, accepted and respected for who we are.
All of us are unique and special.
We are Jesus' beloved children.

You've a very unique name.
Is it given by your parents?

Dear Sister Audrey & brother Cyberanger,

Thank you for leaving me your comments:-) Sorry for the late reply as I lost my mobile phone & was trying really hard to retrieve my contact numbers.

I had no back up, thus it is 'point blank', that cause me great 'pain'.

Godwyn means, 'Friend of God'. It was not given by my parents, as praise Jesus, they received salvation for less than 2 years, Praise the Lord for the break through!

The Lord bless me with the name, it's really a long story, I hope to 'blog' about it one fine day. Name is unique but if I do any wrong, it will spread like wild fire. I bind that in Jesus name:p

So true.
I have lived most my life wearing labels from others. Knowing the pain of labels, I try not to do the same, but I know I'm not perfect and I know I've been guilty of such things. We are human. We do the things we don't want to do and don't do the things we should.
Blessings in the Lord.

PS. May I ask a small favor? I find the bold type hard on my eyes. Would it be okay for you not to use bold?
I also know of others that have trouble reading bold. I hope it is okay for me to ask this.

Dear Sister Rulan,

Thank you for your advise. You mean for me not to 'bold' all my words? Not to use color words? I use it from time to time to 'stress' on certain words:-)

What about the size of words, I usually increase it to focus on that phase or words. Please advise me:-)

I want my 'blog' to be user-friendly but I do have so call 'writing style:p Your advise is greatly appreciated:-)

Are there other comments, you can kindly advise me on my 'blog' God Bless!

Uh oh...

Your handphone is lost!
Misplaced or stolen?

It's a huge lost.
All the contacts are gone.

Just pass the word around.
Ask your girlfriends and guyfriends to update you.
Put the request up on your MSN nickname.

Soon, all your contact numbers will be addded.

Hi there brother. I trust that you are well?
With large chunks of bold type, the desired emphasis is lost. Where as, regular type with the occasional different color, or small block of bold, is far more eye catching.

I have dyslexia and find bold type hard to focus on when there is a lot of it. I also know of others who have similar problems.

I hope you didn't mind me mentioning it. You have a great blog and it would be great to see you get more visitors.

Dear Sister Rulan,

Thank you for your guidance & support. Your kind commments led me to understand how to make my blog more 'user friendly' so to speak:-) Please continue to give me guidance to help me to improve, I sincerely thank you for such:-)

Sorry for the late reply as work was messed up with the loss of my mobile contacts. May the Lord make His face shine on you, & be gracious to you!

Dear Sister Audrey,

My mobile 'slip' out of my pocket while I was watching a movie. My Bermuda pockets were too shallow.

The person in the back row or beside me must have picked it up but instead of returning to me, He/she kept it.

I did the MSN thingy, my MSN is up like 24 hours for the last few days. I did managed to retrieve 60% of my contacts back.

That's 'God's problem' I shall remain Still & expect Him to deliver me out of this mess. It's a huge loss, I got that mobile just 2 months ago.

Thank you for your concern:-) God Bless, just pray for me.

Cool post, dear brother in Christ.

Hey, I came across your blog through a trail from some other blogs. I enjoyed reading through yours.

I love Singapore and miss it greatly. I spent a great deal of time there over the last few years. I work for ExxonMobil and was in Singapore a lot working on various projects. I always stayed at the Fullerton when I was there. That is a beautiful building.

I hope to come back someday soon. I would love to bring my wife and show her the beautiful city and Sentosa Island.

Thanks for prompting me to remember Singapore.
