2nd Timothy 2:13

If we are faithless [do not believe & are untrue to Him], He remains true (faithful to His Word & His righteous character), for He cannot deny Himself. [2 Tim 2:13 Amplified Bible] My closest brother in Christ choose now to deny Christ & I found no way to talk him out of it. My mobile was stolen while I was watching 'Munich', losing all my contacts. I discover how vulnerable we are when we depend on technology. Much more unpleasant incidents that quaver my faith...

Have you ever found yourself in such situation & start to doubt the existence of God? God is true to us even when we forget Him, we do not believe in Him, because of the perfect work done by a savior, have you forgotten? If you have, let me share with you my disbelief, His name is Christ Jesus, Son of God...

God's blessings are dispensed according to the riches of his grace, not according to the depth of our faith. God's faithfulness has never depended on the faithfulness of us. He is faithful even when we aren't. When we lack courage, He doesn't. He has made a history out of using people in spite of people, that I choose to think. In my mind one side echoes, "Godwyn don't give up, look up, trust & believe in Jesus. Your optimism is not hollow. Christ has proven worthy. He has shown that he never fails, thought there is nothing but failure is us". Jesus is faithful even when we are not! That's what makes Jesus, our God, our living Savior...

It sounds like an irony isn't it, God made man, Man rejected God. Yet, the truth is God won't give up until He wins You back! Though I might hear nothing now, I know He is speaking. Though I see nothing now, He is acting as with God there are no accidents. Every incident I believe is intended to bring us closer to Him! So what does Jesus do while we are enduring the 'pain'? What does He do while we are in the storm? He prays for us! Really? It is written in the Bible in Mark...

[Mark 6:45-51 NASB] "Immediately Jesus made His disciples get into the boat & go ahead of Him to the other side to Bethsaida, while He Himself was sending the crowd away. After bidding them farewell, He left the mountain to pray. When it was evening, the boat was in the middle of the sea, & He was alone on the land. Seeing them straining at the oars, for the wind was against them, at about the fourth watch of the night He came to them, walking on the sea, they supposed that it was a ghost, & cried out; for they immediately He spoke with them & said to them, "Take courage; it is I, do not be afraid." Then He got into the boat with them, and the wind stopped;

Jesus was not in the boat while the disciples were in the storm, He wasn't in the boat because He had gone to the hills to pray. Jesus didn't stop praying while His disciples were struggling. When He heard their cries, He remained in prayer. Why? There is always two side of the coin. Either He didn't care, or He believed in prayer. I think we know the correct choice. And you know what? Jesus hasn't changed. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday & today & forever. [Heb 13:8 NASB] But Jesus, on the other hand, because He continues forever, holds His priesthood permanently. Therefore He is able to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. [Heb 7:24-25 NASB]

So where does that leave us? While Jesus is praying & we are in the storm, what are we to do? We do what the disciples did. We row! The disciples rowed most of the night. Marks says that they 'struggled hard' to row the boat. The word struggle is elsewhere translated as 'tormented'. Wasn't easy. Wasn't glamorous. Much of life is spent rowing. Getting out of bed. Fixing lunches. Turning in assignments. Changing diapers. Paying bills. Routine. Regular. More struggle than strut. More wrestling than resting.

I learned that at the right time, God comes. In the right way, He appears. So I choose not to bail out. I choose not to give up! I choose not to lay down the oars! As Jesus is too wise to forget us, too loving to hurt us. When we can't see Him, trust Him. He is praying a prayer that He Himself will answer. I have made my choice, have you? Don't QUIT!

Yes, brother Godwyn.
You're on the right path.
Don't give up, ok?
Continue to cling close to Jesus.

Jesus loves you very much.
He'll always be your best friend.
Go to Him in prayers and supplications
He's holding your hand.

"The eternal God is your refuge,
and underneath are the everlasting arms."
Deuteronomy 33:27

Please take care.

godwyn, the Lord loves you very much.

Times of testing are opportunities to grow and to step into a new level of faith in Christ. He is calling for you to reach out and stand on higher ground. Push through, my brother.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

godwyn, I should have added, don't feel down for where you're at. We all go through times such as these.

As Audrey said, you are on the right path.

I will pray you hear the Lord's leading and know His grace.

God bless you and keep you.

You are a warrior for Christ.

Dear Sister Audrey & Rulan,

I am really thankful for your encouragement & support. I know Jesus loves me heaps that is why I have wonderful comfort with all your companies...

My family though all receive salvation we attend different churches & we sort of have differences in our belief. My age gap between my siblings are 10 & 14 years apart thus it is hard to share my thoughts & sentiments...

I am learning to be like Micah, "Therefore I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me. Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall I shall arise; When I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me." Micah 7:7-8

When I fall, I shall arise!

Dear Godwyn, it's true that as disciples of Jesus, we struggle hard at times to 'row the boat'. Yes let's continue making that choice of not giving up. Praying for you. Love to pray with you on msn again brother :)
